Hello and welcome back to the whole new set of weekly news roundup, where we inform you about the updates in the real estate industry. So, let’s see what’s on the bulletin for this week.

Beginning with an update on the Assembly Elections. Congress party defeated the mighty BJP in a state election by taking over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, without Post-Pole support. Kamal Nathan has been appointed as the CM of MP.

Update on Smart City. The urban development and housing minister of Karnataka said that about Rs 91.34 crores have been spent so far on the seven selected cities under the Smart City project in Karnataka.

Next update on the new RBI Governor. After the immediate resignation of former RBI governor Urjit Patel, Former economic affairs secretary Shaktikanta Das has been appointed as the 25th RBI Governor.

Update on Rapid Metro. The detailed project report for 106 kilometre-long Delhi-Gurugram-SNB Regional Rapid Transit System has been approved by the NCR Transport Corporation.

And in the end, the Apex consumer commission has ordered that builders can’t use not getting approvals from authorities, hurdles in land acquisition or any other difficulty as an excuse for delay in delivery of flats to homebuyers
